Tasting Notes
Lauren Langfield is the winemaker at Orbis Wines and took out the top spot for the Young Gun of Wine Awards in 2023 so we had high hopes for her personal label and everything we have tried from here so far has been a winner. This is 100% Mendoza clone Chardonnay from a vineyard in the Limestone Coast. Initially in the glass the wine is quite tight but with air unfurls to show layers of citrus, stone fruit, pear, cashew and almond meal. It's got that chalky mineral character that balances the wine while the acid line adds flow. - Pete L
