Tasting Notes
An eccentric blend of red and white grapes Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Petit Verdot and Sauvignon Blanc from Orange and Tumbarumba vineyards. The reds were handled semi-carbonically and the white direct pressed. All fermented wild and aged in old barrels for 18 months before being bottled unfined, unfiltered and unsulfured.
It makes for a delicious light bodied red that has been confused for the likes of Nebbiolo, Pinot Noir, Grenache and Gamay by many. Go figure! A full spectrum of juicy red, blue and black fruits upfront which lightens as the wine proceeds over the palate, finishing fresh and finely textured. Just bloody delicious really! - Chris L
